SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Shipping and handling charges are added to your order based on the total dollar amount of the merchandise you order. These charges include the cost of shipping your order via FedEx Ground or UPS and costs of handling and preparing the products to be delivered to you safely and in good condition. Due to the large number of vendors and artisans with various ship times, our policy is to charge your credit card when the order is placed with the manufacturer or artisan. The shipping table shown below indicates the charges that will be applied to your order during the checkout process.

QUICK SHIP ITEMS
An item designated as a Quick Ship item will usually ship and be delivered within 1 - 2 weeks. If an item runs out of stock, it may take 3 to 4 weeks for it to be shipped and delivered. If you need a Quick Ship item for a gift, please indicate this in the comments section at the time of check-out. We will do our best to get you the products within 1 to 2 weeks. Please note that many of our items are custom made and may take 3 to 4 weeks for arrival. if you place other items in your shopping cart that are not designated as Quick Ship, please advise us in the comments section at the time of check-out if you want us to ship the Quick Ship items first and all others when available.

FREE SHIPPING
The offer for free shipping is only available for packages shipped within the 48 contiguous states and does not include Alaska, Hawaii or APO addresses. In the cases of Alaska, Hawaii or APO addresses, we will notify you via email of the shipping costs and you can accept or reject the order at that time. Furniture cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii or APO addresses. A Free Shipping promotion includes furniture. There are no furniture delivery surcharges or additional charges for furniture delivery.

REFUNDS ON SHIPPING CHARGES
If you place an order with our store and we send you the wrong item, we will reimburse you for the shipping charges that were incurred with the order. If you place an order with our store and receive the product and later (within 14 days) decide that you do not want the product, our policy is that original shipping charges are not credited to your account when the product is returned. You are responsible for returning the product in it's original packaging and in re-salable condition for us to credit your card for the purchase price (excluding shipping/handling fees). We do not reimburse return shipping charges unless the product is being returned because of an error on our part. If a product arrives damaged or broken, we will send a replacement item and you will only pay for shipping once.

SHIPPING TO AN ALTERNATE ADDRESS
If you are placing an order and would like for the items to be shipped to an address that is different from the address on your credit card (where you receive your credit card statement), our policy requires that the alternate address be listed with your credit card company. This measure is done to protect against credit card fraud and is also done to protect our cardholders from unauthorized use of their credit card. You can add an alternate address to your credit card for receiving merchandise by simply calling the toll free number on the reverse side of your card and indicating to the Credit Card Customer Service Representative to add the alternate address for purchases. That way when merchants like us call to verify the address and card information, the alternate address will also be listed. Safety against credit card fraud is our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will comply with this requirement if you are having products shipped to an alternate address.

CANCELLATION OF A CUSTOM ORDER
A custom ordered item may be cancelled within 72 hours of placing your order. Please call us on our toll free line at 1-866-837-5437 if you wish to cancel a custom ordered item.

SHIPPING FURNITURE
Kid's Decor has expanded it's shipping policies to include furniture.   All furniture deliveries are shipped by a third party freight carrier and we use WHITE GLOVE SERVICE.  What this means is the freight company will call you to make an appointment for delivery with you.  Usually, it will be a 2 to 4 hour window.  When they deliver the furniture, they will unpack it and place it in the room of your choice and remove all packaging.  Beds and other items with simple assembly will be assembled by the delivery company.  Cribs can only be unpacked and will not be assembled. 
 
 WHAT IS YOUR DELIVERY AREA AND IS THERE A CHARGE FOR THIS SERVICE?
Kid’s Décor will deliver furniture from Brownsville/South Padre Island to Rio Grande City, Texas –essentially, the entire Rio Grande Valley. We have a standard delivery fee of $50 for our service area (McAllen, Mission, Hidalgo, Pharr, and Edinburg). Deliveries outside of our immediate service area are charged a flat fee of $100.

DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE OF THE US?
Sorry, but no. At this time we ship packages to all 50 states. In the cases of Alaska and Hawaii, we will notify you via e-mail or by phone if the shipping charges exceed the prices on our shipping table. At that time, you can accept or reject the order and we will process it accordingly. Also, for Alaska and Hawaii, if the shipping charges are not greater than the shipping table, we will simply process the order routinely.

DO YOU SHIP ANY OF YOUR FURNITURE INTO MEXICO?
YES!! We will coordinate delivery of your furniture via a third party mover that can deliver to a residence in Mexico. The customer is responsible for negotiating with the third party mover on all fees. The third party mover is only responsible for getting the furniture to your residence. They do not assemble furniture (e.g., cribs and beds). Customers may also purchase the furniture and pick it up at our store when it arrives. On international sales to Mexico, sales taxes are reimbursed after proper documentation is provided that the products were taken into Mexico.

DO YOU OFFER FREE SHIPPING ON ANY ITEMS?
Yes, we do offer free shipping on promotional items. This will be indicated when the item is selected.
